Many of the players on the women’s hockey team have strong New England ties. Marie-Phillip Poulin, who scored the game winning goal for Canada, plays for Boston University. And of course, US Team Captain Meghan Duggan is a Danvers native. Yesterday, her friends and family watched Duggan skate the game of her life.
