The Low Anthem, Live In Copley Square
The Providence-based band The Low Anthem has performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall, to the Old South Church in Boston. As of today, they can add the Boston Public Library to that list. They join WBUR’s Anthony Brooks and Sacha Pfeiffer for Radio Boston’s live broadcast in Copley Square to share their unique brand of folk music. It’s been described as simultaneously “old-timey” and “otherworldly,” which all makes sense when you hear it for yourself. Pretty soon, there will be more of it to hear, as the band discusses a forthcoming album recorded entirely in a derelict opera house in Providence.
Ben Knox Miller, guitar.
Jeff Prystowsky, bass and piano.
Florence Wallis, vocals, percussion.
