Thanks to Governor Sanford, husbands now have to take their kids with them when they take a hike on the Appalachian Trail.

Thanks for your book, and your inspiration.  We took our 2 daughters, 3 and 6, last year for 2 nights (just a section hike)…. It is great to see and hear about other kids on the trail.

I hope you take those great daughters on more adventures on the trail–and also all over the world. We need to expand our perspectives and invite our kids along for the ride.
