Game Hunting: A Love Story
Maine writer Paula Young Lee begins her memoir: “This is a love story for grown ups. There is sex, death and snoring. A happy ending is not guaranteed… it is a story about hunting. The real kind that starts with hunting and ends with guts being spilled.”
With a beginning like that, who could resist reading on?
Paula Young Lee, fellow at the Center for Animals and Public Policy at Tufts. Her memoir is called, “Deer Hunting In Paris: A Memoir Of God, Guns And Game Meat.” She’s also written, “Game: A Global History“.
