Ambassador Charles Stith On MLK
On this day for the past 44 years, civil rights leaders, politicians, and activists have gathered at the Martin Lurther King, Jr. breakfast in Boston. It is the oldest celebration of its kind to honor the slain civil rights leader.
This morning 800 people, including the governor, the mayor, and both Massachusetts senators came together at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center to hear the Rev. Charles Stith give the keynote address.
Ambassador Charles Stith, former ambassador to Tanzania and the director of the African Presidential Archives and Research Center at Boston University.
