Last year, they were the worst.

And last night….

The sons of John Farrell and Big Papi did it decisively and with minimum anxiety last night — beating the St. Louis Cardinals 6 to 1, clinching a World Series title for the third time in ten years…and the 8th time in franchise history.

From beer and fried chicken and last place – to Champaign and a World Series victory.

Happy Halloween, Boston and New England.
