Many of us know, love can and often does hurt. That idea is certainly at the heart of “Dirty Love” a new book from author Andre Dubus III.

“Dirty Love” is a collection of four novellas about the dark side, the complicated side, the painful side of love. They’re stories about need, control, betrayal and sex. But they are also about hope, maybe even redemption, involving people who feel touchingly real.
