And The Tony Goes To… The Huntington!
For theater lovers, the Tony Awards are the most anticipated event of the year. They’re coming up this Sunday, and Bostonians have good reason to tune in to the ceremony — our very own Huntington Theatre Company is receiving the 2013 Regional Theatre Award. The Broadway League and American Theatre Wing cited the Huntington for ” championing theatre as an art form.”
The Huntington’s artistic director Peter DuBois joins us to tell us why he thinks they were chosen for the award.
Peter DuBois, artistic director of The Huntington Theatre Company
