Scott MacKay, political analyst for Rhode Island Public Radio.

Radio Boston, “A new economic forecast released by the New England Economic Partnership offers an optimistic outlook for  Massachusetts and for the region as a whole over the next five years. Anchored by a projected rise in employment and deliberate but steady economic growth, the forecast points to a surge in manufacturing, of all things, as a catalyst.”

Radio Boston, “Big news in Massachusetts politics today: Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray announces his resignation effective June 2, while Democratic Congressman Edward Markey and Republican nominee Gabriel Gomez appear to have shifted strategies with their latest TV ads.”

WBUR, “Ibragim Todashev apparently knew the late suspected marathon bomber, Tamerlan Tsarnaev. They were both Chechen immigrants, they both were mixed martial arts fighters and they appear to have trained at the same gym together. Todashev’s neighbors in Allston say FBI agents went to his former apartment there looking for Todashev shortly after the bombing.”
