If Councilor Connolly is elected, he very well may assume leadership of a city that has not approved a casino yet. As we saw in Holyoke, the mayor of cities in the Commonwealth have unbelievable power in the decision of whether to negotiate with casino operators. Will you continue to negotiate with casino operators who want to set up shop in Boston?

I would have liked to have heard him mention increasing the supply of moderately priced apartments as rents are obscene and providing municipal internet.  I support public education, but don’t have children, so if he wants to get more younger voters, he needs to discuss more than just this one issue.
