Remembering Sandy Hook Elementary’s Principal

Funeral services for the principal of Sandy Hook Elementary, Dawn Hochsprung, are scheduled for Wednesday. Hochsprung was killed when when she confronted the shooter head on after hearing the sound of gunfire coming from the hallway of the school.

Hochsprung leaves behind her husband, two daughters, and three stepdaughters. We hear from her friend, Maryanne VanAken, who remembers Hochsprung as a passionate and devoted educator.
