Tedeschi Trucks Band: Husband, Wife Team Up For Soulful Rock

Derek Trucks was the long-time leader of his own band, and many consider him one of the greatest living guitarists. Here he is performing when he was only 13:

Trucks teamed up with his wife Susan Tedeschi to form the Tedeschi Trucks Band, an 11-piece soul-rock collective, lead by the dazzling slide guitar of Trucks and the guitar and soulful singing of Tedeschi.

Their debut album, “Revelator,” came out last year and won a Grammy for Best Blues Album and the Blues Music Award for Album of the Year. Here’s “Come See About Me,” one of the album’s songs:

Their newest album, “Everybody’s Talkin,” was recorded live and came out this past summer. Here’s the title song:

The Tedeschi Trucks Band will performing at the House of Blues on Thursday, Nov. 29, at 7:30 p.m.
