The Real Origin Of Thanksgiving: Rhode Island, Not Mass.

“Americans are confused about Thanksgiving,” wrote James Carroll in The Boston Globe, saying that many of us associate the first American Thanksgiving feast — and the birth of American style liberty — with the early Pilgrims in Plymouth.
