Cambridge writer and editor Molly Birnbaum turned to online dating five months ago after coming out of a long term relationship. She says that she discovered someone very unexpected in the process: herself.

I just listened to this, and Molly seems like she has a good head on her shoulders. She’s discovering who she is, and the people she’s in a relationship, builds upon that. As with my life experience as well, I wouldn’t be who am today w/o those relationships.

I also found, that when I wasn’t “looking”, when I was content with myself and my own being, that’s when I found like-minded people and I was more engaged with them. I think “alone time” is VERY important, watching, accessing is necessary, to become a more grounded person. Best of luck Molly!
