Lt. Gov. Tim Murray has confirmed something everyone has known for some time: he’d like to be governor of Massachusetts. He spoke at Thursday’s meeting of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, and WBUR’s Curt Nickisch was there.

    I hope Deval Patrick and John Kerry stay in their present positions to block any possible intrusion by the same old Republican crowd. People are election weary and need a rest. Kerry and Patrick are doing fine where they are. I don’t think Murray is electable with his baggage.

    We don’t need another fear mongering campaign from Kerry Healy or a barn-coat-pickup-truck style run from Brown while he poses camera-ready in his National Guard uniform attracting more attention from the press than a battalion of soldiers.
