Maine U.S. Senate Race Draws Over $6M In Out-Of-State Contributions

We speak with former Maine Gov. Angus King, who is running for U.S. Senate in Maine against Republican Secretary of State Charlie Summers and Democratic state Sen. Cynthia Dill. It’s one of the state’s most contested races in years and has attracted more than $6 million in campaign contributions from out of state.

And we are joined by Susan Sharon, deputy news director at Maine Public Broadcasting, to discuss that race and the ballot question which might make Maine the first state in the nation to approve gay marriage by popular vote.

Hosts Meghna Chakrabarti and Anthony Brooks introduce us to newsmakers, big thinkers and artists and bring us stories of relevance to Bostonians here and around the region. Live every weekday at 3.
