Ruth Shapiro, Philanthropist, Dies At 95
Longtime Boston philanthropist Ruth Shapiro died Sunday due to complications from pneumonia. She was 95.
Ruth and her husband ran one of the nation’s largest philanthropies, The Carl and Ruth Shapiro Family Foundation, with annual giving in the tens of millions of dollars.
