Comparing Ferdaus And Holmes: What Do These Cases Teach Us About Law Enforcement?

One defendant is charged with the murder of twelve in Colorado. The other defendant is charged with attempting to blow up the Pentagon and the Capitol Building. One of them was never on any law enforcement radar. The other was accompanied the whole way by undercover agents. WBUR’s David Boeri draws the comparison that raises troubling questions for those engaged in counter terrorism.
