Brown, Warren And The Middle Class

There’s no doubt that the economy is on the forefront of voters minds this election season. A poll released by WBUR and MassINC Tuesday shows that voters identify Scott Brown with the middle class more than they do Elizabeth Warren. And while voters believe they both understand the needs of the middle class, voters give an edge to Brown when it comes to knowing how to get the economy moving.

A report published back in September by Demos, a non-partisan think tank, found that the Massachusetts middle class is doing better than folks in much of the rest of the country but is still in jeopardy.

David Callahan, co-founder and senior fellow at Demos, joined Radio Boston to discuss what this might mean for 2012 Senate race in Massachusetts.
