Logan Airport Won’t Forget 9/11

All this week, we — as individuals, as a Commonwealth and as a nation — have been looking back and wrestling with the legacy of the Sept. 11 attacks.
But this morning, Radio Boston’s Meghna Chakbrabarti went to a place in Boston where no one ever forgets 9/11 That’s Logan Airport where, on the morning of 9/11, American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 took off, and eventually crashed into the World Trade Center.
There is a beautiful glass memorial at the airport. It’s right next to the Hilton Hotel at Logan. That’s where Massport employees remembered passengers and colleagues on the two flights.
Hosts Meghna Chakrabarti and Anthony Brooks introduce us to newsmakers, big thinkers and artists and bring us stories of relevance to Bostonians here and around the region. Live every weekday at 3.
