The victorious Bruins returned to Boston on Thursday, and they brought the coveted Stanley Cup with them.

The B’s defeated the Vancouver Canucks 4-0 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals yesterday to win their first Stanley Cup since 1972.

The focus now turns to the celebration, and with that in mind the city has announced plans for a parade of champions on Saturday. Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino said the parade will run from the TD Garden to Copley Plaza.
