Students Pledge To Fight Obesity

Childhood obesity has become, by any number of yardsticks, the No. 1 health problem among American kids.
In response, the federal government has started toughening school nutrition standards. The first lady has her Let’s Move campaign. The state legislature in Massachusetts has cracked down on school vending machines.
The thing is, they’re all initiatives pushed on kids by adults. But in one Boston neighborhood, some teens are taking on the problem themselves.
