Sometimes one of the most enjoyable things about growing up are the moments when you’re briefly transported back to a childhood memory. Certain sounds, smells, or tastes can, like a time machine, take you right back to your youth.

For some Bostonians, one of those nostalgic sensory overloads could come from a bottle of Tower Root Beer. Radio Boston’s Griff McNerney has the story.

Hosts Meghna Chakrabarti and Anthony Brooks introduce us to newsmakers, big thinkers and artists and bring us stories of relevance to Bostonians here and around the region. Live every weekday at 3.
